Now for the key question: what are we going to do about it? You, me, each of us? There are a thousand reasons for giving up but there is also one important reason NOT to surrender: every 0.1C we can shave off the final rise, every 10 ppm increase of CO2 we can avoid, leaves our kids with chance at a slightly less catastrophic future. That's a damn good reason to get political, to lobby, to write letters to the media, to protest and to set a good example. I live in hope that there will come a time when excessive consumption and hyper-mobility are seen for what they are: complicity in slow motion genocide.
