Alas, we have our share of rednecks and science-deniers. Climate-related activism usually elicits shouted abuse from a few passers-by.

But so far physical threats have been very rare - and only in response to activists blocking roads, which I don't do.

Of more concern is the fact that repeat polling shows a majority of citizens are 'concerned' about the climate crisis; but that concern is not translating into a willingness to cut ICE travel or get involved politically. It seems that someone else will have to solve the problem!
