Bit pointless? Bit negative?

Those of us who give a damn about the future have been trying by one means or another to get some action - some response from our so-called leaders - for years or even decades. We don't all agree about the best way to achieve traction, but blaming activists is useless.

Humans are up against our biggest challenge since the last glacial maximum 18,000 years back - actually, quite possibly our greatest challenge since our hominin ancestors emerged on the savannas of Africa. This time it's self-inflicted. By all means blame the endless GDP growth religion. Blame greed. Blame politicians for cosying up to industry lobbyists. Blame the media shock-jocks who sneer at the science.

But please don't point the finger at climate activists who are just doing their best to get H. "sapiens" to stop shitting in their own next.
