Good idea. The posters need some thought as different people respond to different images. Here in Aotearoa/New Zealand, our local 350 group recently funded and distributed 41,000 'vote climate' pre-election leaflets across our city; they were deliberately non-partisan, but it was encouraging to see our local Green Party candidates do well in the recent national election.

There is also however the wider problem of deliberate cognitive dissonance. Most of my acquaintances are otherwise decent people and many of them are science-literate. But when climate comes up in conversation you can sense the mental gears grinding as they hunt desperately for another topic - often it'll be their next flying holiday or gas-guzzling road trip. They are not 'frozen with fear' - they just refuse to think about it, especially if it means taking a hit for their kids' sake.
