It's becoming increasingly difficult to relate to friends and acquaintances in a mad world where most people still assume business as usual. Even those who appear to understand what's happening have, it seems, little intention of changing their lifestyle (eg not flying) in an attempt to ensure their kids have a chance at a decent future.
