People seem to have many reasons/excuses for doing nothing. "It's all too late, there's nothing any one person can do" is just one of them.

Blaming corporations (or China, or India, or anyone but me) is another. It's all lazy, selfish and inexcusable.

The odds are indeed stacked against us, and more specifically against our kids. All the more reason to get active both personally and politically.

Neither optimism nor pessimism is the slightest use: what we need is action.

Around the world there are hundred of millions of well-informed people all saying "there's nothing any one person can do. " Just imagine what we could do if they all got involved.
