THE BEST EXCUSES FOR BUCK-PASSING ON CLIMATE ACTION

Most people I know are science-literate enough to ‘get’ what’s happening to the global climate. But they choose to continue flying, driving and consuming anyway. They see zero connection between their own lifestyle choices and the people currently dying as a result of the ramping-up of weather disasters across the globe.

Then, of course, there’s the various excuses that arise from political cowardice, corporate denial & greenwash turbocharged by media bias and deflection.

I think I’ve seen just about every excuse for passing the buck. For weeks I’ve been trying to summarise these excuses for inaction, but then along came this excellent article, and did it far better than I could have done.
