Well said. I find it increasingly hard to hold a civil conversation with people who insist on flying, going on ocean cruises or taking multiple holiday road trips. I love travel but can no longer justify it.

Most people just don't want to know; mentioning the topic of personal responsibility for GHG emissions causes an awkward silence followed by a rapid change of subject. And yet these are otherwise decent caring folk....
