With regard to science - in this case climate science and the way we are flouting other planetary boundaries - I fail to see why you have a problem with this article. As a human construct, science is not perfect, but it IS progressive - unlike human opinion or fashion.

The laws of thermodynamics don't care what you or I think. Given the overwhelming evidence that H. sapiens is wrecking the climate and wrecking our own kids' future, rather than quibbling it would seem wise to agree with this author and start seeing the capitalist, growthist mindset for what it is - dysfunctional, sociopathic - and genocidal.
